At The Divine Dog San Antonio, we serve families throughout the greater San Antonio area with science-based dog training rooted in positive reinforcement, clarity, and respect for each dog’s emotional wellbeing. We work with clients across San Antonio and the surrounding communities, including Alamo Heights, Stone Oak, Shavano Park, Helotes, Boerne, New Braunfels, and Schertz. Whether you are in the heart of San Antonio or in one of its surrounding neighborhoods, our goal is to bring clear, results-driven training directly into your everyday environment.

Jesse Sage

Director of Training
Jesse Sage serves as Director of Training for The Divine Dog San Antonio, guiding the philosophy, structure, and standards behind every program. As a professional member of the Pet Professional Guild and the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, Jesse is committed to humane, science-based training built entirely on positive reinforcement.
His leadership ensures that every dog is taught in a way that supports both learning and emotional balance, creating reliable, lasting results.
When he is not working with clients, Jesse enjoys spending time along the River Walk, visiting local restaurants, and exploring the culture and history that make San Antonio unique.

Alejandro Ruiz

Head of Behavioral Programs
Alejandro leads behavioral programs throughout San Antonio, helping dogs work through reactivity, anxiety, and impulse control challenges using structured, reward-based training methods.
His work focuses on helping dogs feel calm, stable, and confident in a wide range of environments.
Outside of training, Alejandro enjoys spending time with family, visiting local parks, and exploring San Antonio’s rich cultural scene.

Daniel Morales

Board and Train Program Supervisor
Daniel oversees the San Antonio board and train program, creating a consistent and supportive environment where dogs develop reliable skills through positive reinforcement and clear guidance.
His calm and patient approach allows dogs to settle into training and build confidence.
Outside of training, Daniel enjoys exploring local food spots, attending community events, and spending time in areas like the Pearl District.

Sarah Thompson

Senior Dog Trainer
Sarah works with families across San Antonio, from Alamo Heights to Boerne and New Braunfels, helping dogs build strong foundations in obedience, leash skills, and everyday behavior.
Her training style emphasizes patience, consistency, and helping dogs clearly understand what leads to success.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys walking through Brackenridge Park, visiting local shops, and spending time outdoors.

Isabella Flores

Puppy Development Specialist
Isabella focuses on early puppy development, helping San Antonio families guide their dogs through the most important stages of learning. Her work emphasizes confidence building, socialization, and establishing strong behavioral foundations.
She is passionate about helping puppies grow into calm, well-adjusted companions.
Outside of training, Isabella enjoys spending time with family, visiting local markets, and enjoying the vibrant culture of San Antonio.

Marcus Johnson

Behavior Support Trainer
Marcus supports the behavioral team by helping implement personalized training plans that allow dogs to succeed in everyday life.
His approach is steady, clear, and focused on building trust and consistency.
Outside of training, Marcus enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and exploring different parts of the San Antonio area.

Sofia Martinez

Client Communications Coordinator
Sofia ensures that every client experience with The Divine Dog San Antonio is smooth, organized, and welcoming from the very beginning. She coordinates communication, scheduling, and program flow so families feel supported at every step.
She takes pride in helping San Antonio clients feel confident and comfortable as they begin their training journey.
Outside of her role, Sofia enjoys exploring the River Walk, visiting local boutiques, and spending time in the neighborhoods that give San Antonio its unique charm.
